Controlling the Uncontrollable

This abstract series plays on notion of control. When to contain matter and when to let go? Steps by steps, the artwork is created by a succession of actions – some meant to restrain, others to yield to the physicality of the paint, each time redefining the role of control and its effects on the piece. The constant back and forth between lines and flow of watery acrylic creates an unusual push/pull play that activates the whole composition.
